Metropolis of us typically see pigeons however all of them are adults. Have you ever ever seen a child pigeon?

Rock pigeons nest on cliffs within the wild or in nooks on excessive buildings or bridges in feral settings. This places their nests excessive above our area of view and, because the younger received’t depart the nest till they will fly, they don’t seem like infants anymore after we lastly see them. They seem like their mother and father.

Each every so often a pair of pigeons will select a balcony or window ledge the place the resident can see the nest. This occurred for @LostInTheWildCanada who documented the pigeon household on YouTube.

Who knew that rock pigeon nestlings are coated in yellow-orange down? Who knew their eyes didn’t open for every week? Who knew they have been so … ugly?
