HKScan has at the moment, on 7 March 2024, been knowledgeable that the EU Fee has accepted the association introduced in December 2023 whereby HKScan will promote its enterprise in Sweden. In February 2024, the approval of the Swedish authorities for international direct funding (FDI) was obtained and HKScan’s Extraordinary Basic Assembly accepted the association.

HKScan and Lantmännen ek för, the acquirer of the enterprise, intend to shut the transaction throughout March 2024.

On 29 December 2023, HKScan introduced that it had signed an settlement to promote its Swedish enterprise to Swedish Lantmännen.

With the transaction, HKScan’s possession of its Swedish enterprise will finish. The enterprise and personnel of HKScan’s Swedish subsidiaries shall be transferred to the brand new proprietor on the closing of the transaction.
