At 11am on Jan 12-2024, a male Hooded Oriole was photographed at a hummingbird feeder at a personal yard of a house, on Pineridge Dr (close to Pineridge Pl), within the gated neighborhood of Arbutus Ridge in Cobble Hill. The sighting was posted on inaturalist by the observer’s son Mr. William Innes however the unique observer prefers to maintain their first title nameless.

The house just isn’t open to the general public. The neighborhood is gated and presently there isn’t any public entry apart from residents.

That is the twenty seventh report for BC.

The hen continued on Jan thirteenth.
