The Nationwide Wildlife Refuge Affiliation is happy to announce the opening of the applying interval for our 2024 O’Brien Prize for Refuge Pals Teams.

The O’Brien Prize is a prestigious award that acknowledges excellent achievement by Refuge Pals teams in help of the Nationwide Wildlife Refuge System. The prize is called after Donal O’Brien III, a previous Board Chair of the Refuge Affiliation and longtime fanatic of the Refuge System. Don was a beneficiant supporter of our work and was at all times impressed by the dedication and effectiveness of Refuge Pals teams.

Eligibility and Standards

Award

The Refuge Pals group will obtain a grant of as much as $6,000 to help the implementation of their proposed venture.

Tips on how to Apply

Proposals are due Wednesday, April seventeenth, 2024. Please fill out the applying doc and submit your proposals electronically to Courtney Phelan at cphelan@refugeassociation.org.
